Love in a mist, Nigella Damascena is an intriguing spring flower.
It certainly seems well named.
This variety is probably Miss Jekyll, with her cornflower blue blossoms.

I've never seen one of these flowers. It almost looks like a crown of thorns around the petals. Love the blue.
